Women’s Baseball in Merida

I obviously really impressed myself during my two trips to Merida this year haha. I have entered so many photos from those trips.

Culture fascinates me and Mexico is so dense with culture. 

Another thing I was able to do while I was there was photograph a couple sports teams. During this game, I was having a hard time getting action shots because it was so dark and I was shooting through a chain link fence. This shot was unexpected but I fell in love with it. The colors, the spectators, the action. It all inspires me and makes me keep looking to see all the details. 

I have to give the people in the Yucatan some credit however. It is so hot there I have no idea how they could ever play a sport outside. Haha. I was drenched just standing there. It is impressive the tolerance they have to the heat and humidity

I could still live there. I just would keep photographing the sports and skip joining the team.
